Good morning fellow Americans! 

Soon, basically unopposed, CISPA will be signed into law. Obama says he doesn’t agree with it, but he passed NDAA when he opposed that as well. So there is a good chance he will let CISPA pass.

CISPA makes it so that the government can legally spy on your internet experiences. Of course they do that now, but some of the big internet companies hold out on information. CISPA would let them share with the government and not be held accountable for our information. That’s why you don’t see Google or Facebook opposing CISPA.

I blame the two party system for this.

Fundamentally American Democracy does not work. The American elite have found a far more effective way to rule the population than dictatorships ever will. They give an illusion of choice, so people don’t rebel, and then just ignore public opinion.

Unfortunately I may be put on some government list for posting this. Fuck it. If the cost of speaking up about corruption is punishment, then you’re doing it right.
